President Muhammadu Buhari’s son Yusuf will get married today (Friday) in Kano.

Meanwhile, the Presidency has constituted a presidential delegation ahead of Mr Buhari’s visit to Kano ahead of the wedding between his son and Zahra Bayero on Friday.

Ms Zahra is the daughter of Nasiru Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi in Kano.

A statement by Mr Buhari’s media aide Garba Shehu said the president had already dispatched a high-level delegation to be led by his Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari.

Mr Shehu also revealed that the delegation included the ministers of defence, Bashir Magashi, Sabo Nanono (agriculture), Hadi Sirika (aviation), and Suleiman Hussein Adamu (water resources).

He said members of the delegation would stay back after the wedding to represent Mr Buhari at the coronation of the emir at Bichi the following day (Saturday).
