Afrobeat superstar Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy announced Thursday that his new album “Love, Damini” would be released on July 2, his birthday.

Burna made the disclosure during his “One Night in Space” concert in Madison Square Garden, New York.

The Grammy Awards winner had hinted on the upcoming album when he appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah during the week, refusing to state any specifics.

The new work is already available on pre-order from Friday April 29.

His most recent album, “Twice as Tall”, won the Best World Music Award at the 63rd Grammys held in 2021. In the previous year, his fourth album “African Giant” had been nominated for the same category at the annual Grammy Awards
