Grammy award winning artist Burna Boy narrowly survived a ghastly car accident in Lekki, Lagos on Saturday night.

According to viral clips made by eyewitnesses, the car crash involved his Ferrari.

The African giant confirmed the crash on his Instagram story saying, “Yes it’s true. I had a bad accident in my Ferrari today. My leg just hurts a little but I’m fine.”

Lamenting, Burna Boy said he was surprised to see people recording the crash scene instead of helping him.

“It’s just funny how everyone came out with their  phones recording me instead of trying to help me. I guess they were too excited to see me regardless of the situation lol,” he said.

He ended with a tribute to his late friend Gambo, saying “he got him”.
