Two goals in the first half of the Group B encounter by Joseph Miracle and Chinyere Grace were enough to secure the Queens’ first win in the competition and the maximum three points.

It is also Bayelsa Queens’ first victory in the history of the Interclub tournament,

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns pummel Wadi Degla in the other game of the group to sit comfortably atop of the Group B table with six points.
