Canada announces express entry opportunities for Nigerian doctors, tradespersons, others

Canadian authorities have announced relocation opportunities for Nigerian and other foreign nationals, including medical doctors, tradespersons, and educators.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced on Thursday that the country is seeking doctors, educators, and tradespeople from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
“Canada is seeking skilled professionals through these Express Entry categories,” the IRCC said.
Those the Canadian authorities demanded include healthcare and social services professionals, educators, tradespersons and professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) occupations.
The IRCC also listed professionals in transport occupations, medical doctors, researchers and senior managers with Canadian work experience and workers with French-language proficiency among those needed in the country.
