Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator Carter Efe has reportedly lost his official TikTok account with 5.6 million followers due to repeated platform policy violations.

The video-sharing platform confirmed the permanent ban on Wednesday, citing multiple infractions of its community guidelines.

The enforcement shuts down the creator’s main short-form video hub, where he built a massive audience of 5.6 million followers through comedy skits, music promotions, and live broadcasts.

The development has triggered reactions online, with fans expressing shock that an account with such a large following could disappear from the platform.

Several users, including fans and commentators, on X (formerly Twitter) have expressed concerns over platform restrictions and the loss of years of audience growth.

Reacting to the development, @Olamide0fficial posted, “Losing an account that took you years to build is one of the hardest things ever; hopefully, he gets the account back.”

Another user, @blaccmajek, wrote: “Stupid app. There’s nobody they can’t suspend.”
