Chelsea makes it two consecutive wins in a row, beating Brighton 4-3 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 71st-minute strike salvaged a draw for Leeds after Kevin Schade’s stunner.

It took four minutes for the Blues to find the back of the net, thanks to a goal from Remo Lavia from close range.

Pedro Neto increased the lead for Xabi Alonso’s men to make it 2-0 off an assist from Morgan Rogers.

Joao Pedro fired in Chelsea’s third goal in the 32nd minute after missing an earlier chance, set up by a superb delivery from Jorrel Hato.

Despite the deficit, Brighton pulled one back to make it 3-1 from a goal from Malick Junior Yalcouye.

After the break, Joao Pedro conceded an own goal in the 63rd minute after trying to block Pascal Gross’ initial corner delivery.

The hosts regained control of the game as Cole Palmer fired a brilliant strike to restore Chelsea’s advantage.

In stoppage time, Gross delivered a superb header to give the Seagulls a lifeline and make it 4-3.

The game also marked the debut of the Blues’ latest signing, Emiliano Martinez, from Aston Villa.

At Elland Road, Leeds and Brentford settled for a 1-1 draw as Schade fired a brilliant stunner right before the break, and Calvert-Lewin levelled the scoreline in the second half of the game courtesy of a cross from Lukas Nmecha.

Meanwhile, Sunderland secured their first win of the season, beating Fulham 1-0 as Wilson Isiodor fired in a perfect strike for the Black Cats.
