Child Sexual Abuse: Baba Ijesha hires two SANs

Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, has hired two senior advocates of Nigeria to argue in his child sexual molestation case.
Baba Ijesha appeared before the Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday.
The two SANs who announced their appearance before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo during Thursday’s proceedings were Dada Awosika and Babatunde Ogala.
The senior lawyers announced their appearance with six junior counsels to represent Baba Ijesha in his defence.
The Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Olayinka Adeyemi, led the prosecution for the state. Four state prosecutors accompanied the DPP.
Comedian Damilola Adekoya aka Princess, who accused Baba Ijesha of sexually molesting her 14-year-old foster daughter, was also present in court for proceedings. She arrived at 8.52 a.m.
Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi also made an appearance in the courtroom at 9.49 a.m.
As of the time of the filing of this report, proceedings began at 11:01 a.m.
