China adds seven EU entities to export control list
China’s Ministry of Commerce on Friday announced the addition of seven European Union entities to its export control list to safeguard national security and uphold international non-proliferation obligations.
The ministry said export operators were prohibited from supplying dual-use items to the affected entities.
Those listed include FN Herstal, Fabrique Nationale de Herstal; OMNIPOL a.s.; HENSOLDT AG; EXCALIBUR ARMY spol. s.r.o.; SPACEKNOW INC., odstepny zavod s.r.o.; and VZLU AEROSPACE a.s., as well as FN Browning.
It added that overseas organisations and individuals are also barred from transferring or providing dual-use items originating from China to the listed entities.
According to the ministry, any ongoing related activities must be halted immediately.
