Youth ministers Jamila Ibrahim and Ayodele Olawande have pledged to ensure that President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ for Nigerian youth was realised.

Ms Ibrahim said this while addressing the management staff of the youth ministry in Abuja.

“I will want us to cooperate in order to drive Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for youth development. We are here to serve the youth. Leadership is not only about giving directives,” stated Ms Ibrahim. “We are here as servants of the youths, representing the president and every staff member of the ministry.”

She added, “We need a holistic approach to youth development. I cannot make a policy statement now until I hear from everybody to know where we stand as a ministry. We will work together to design a plan for what we want to do.”

Ms Ibrahim called for the cooperation of the management and staff of the ministry to actualise their mandate.

According to her, Mr Tinubu is passionate about youth development and created a youth ministry and assigned two ministers to drive its development.

She urged the youths to support the president’s administration to achieve his administration’s renewed hope agenda.

Ms Ibrahim appealed to the staff to cooperate with her to better serve the Nigerian youths to achieve the ministry’s objective.

Also speaking, Mr Olawande promised to bring his wealth of experience as a community development expert and youth leader to bear towards achieving the ministry’s mandate.
