Social media app Clubhouse is releasing its Android app. The beta app will be available only for the United States at this time.

“Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see and work to add a few final features like payments and club creation before rolling it out more broadly,” Clubhouse said in a blog post.

Techcrunch notes that the beta app lacks some features like the ability to follow a topic, in-app translations, localisation, ability to create or manage a club, link Twitter and Instagram profiles, payments, and the users are unable to change the profile name or user name.

The Android app will be set to roll out to other English-speaking markets and the rest of the world in the future, though a timeframe is unspecified.

The app will remain invite-only for now, as its original rollout has been. Development for the Android app started early this year, after the company announced its plans.
