Comedian Osama loses wife barely one year after marriage
Nigerian comedian Osama Akpunonu has lost his wife Mildred Maurice, barely one year after their wedding.
In a series of Instagram posts, Osama announced that she died on Saturday, March 26. He, however, did not reveal the cause of her death.
Two days ago on Saturday 26, he posted the picture of a burning candle, then later, the picture of his wife, captioning it: “Goodnight my wife”.
Today, March 28, Osama posted his wedding picture with the caption: “Wedding that never saw any anniversary; got married May 15, 2021… She died March 26, 2022…God bless your soul my world.”
The Jos-based, Edo-born comedian rose to fame performing his own comedy show titled ‘Rhythm of Laughter’ alongside star comedians such as Basket Mouth, Nedu Wazobia, AY, Julius Agwu, and others.
