Commander charges troops to remain focused, obey authorities

Commander 18 Brigade, Brig.-Gen. Taiye Ahmed, has charged troops to remain focused, disciplined, and loyal to constituted authorities. .
He gave the charge when he hosted frontline troops of his brigade to a special new year lunch at the brigade tactical headquarters in the Tagina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
Mr Ahmed encouraged the troops to maintain patriotism and continue to give their best in the discharge of their assigned duties and responsibilities.
He appreciated the officers and soldiers for their sacrifices and untiring commitment in tackling the numerous security challenges facing the country.
In his remarks, the Emir of Kagara, Ahmadu Attahiru, appreciated the Nigerian Army for establishing the 18 brigade tactical headquarters at Tagina.
Mr Attahiru, represented by the Hakimin of Tagina, Garba Bako, also commended the troops for their swift and timely responses to security threats in their areas of responsibility.
The event featured riddles, jokes, and other relaxing events, and concluded with prayers for a successful and prosperous year 2025.
