Committee seeks media support for UNIJOS to successfully host NUGA

The Media and Publicity Sub-Committee for the forthcoming Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) has called on media organisations to support the University of Jos to organise a successful NUGA games.
Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Taye Obareru, made the call when he visited some media outfits on Wednesday in Jos.
The 27th edition of the NUGA games to be hosted by the university, is slated for November 6 to 16.
Mr Obateru, who led other members of the committee, visited Jay FM and Silverbird Radio/Television.
He stated,“This visit is to seek the support and partnership of media organisations in the state towards a successful NUGA games. University of Jos is the first to host NUGA games in the North-Central Zmzone of the country, so we need your support.
“The university management is determined to deliver the best NUGA games in history, but we cannot do that without the media. So, we call on the media practitioners in the state to support the university to organise a memorable event.”
Responding separately, the Station of Manger of Jay FM, Pedre Omobolaji, and Samson Omale of Silverbird Radio/Television, promised to collaborate with the committee towards the success of the event.
Mr Omale, particularly promised to run commentaries, host guests and special reports on the NUGA games.
