Customer Service Week: Lagos CP urges residents to give police feedback

Fatai Tijani, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State command, has urged residents to provide feedback to improve policing in the state.
Mr Tijani made the appeal on Wednesday in a video message marking Customer Service Week, while appreciating residents and stakeholders for their support.
He said feedback from members of the public had contributed significantly to the command’s efforts to improve service delivery.
According to him, such feedback would help the police serve residents better and strengthen the relationship between the command and communities.
Mr Tijani urged residents to continue sharing their observations and feedback with the police, assuring them that the command welcomed constructive contributions.
“At this point, I want to say we appreciate everybody that has supported us, as well as welcome more feedback from the people of Lagos State so that we can be able to serve them better,” he said.
The CP pledged improved service delivery by the command, saying the police did not take the support of residents for granted.
“I want to appreciate the good people of Lagos State for their support for the command.
“We are not taking their support for granted, and we are committed to doing more in terms of service delivery to the good people of the state,” he said.
He also commended individuals and groups that had supported the command in its efforts to provide better policing services.
Mr Tijani reiterated the command’s commitment to providing better services to residents and expressed gratitude to those who had contributed to its efforts.
The CP prayed for the state, the police and its residents.
“God bless Lagos State, God bless the Lagos Police Command, and God bless the people of Lagos State. God bless the law,” he said.
