Davido celebrates Grammy awards, says it’s victory for Nigeria
Davido joined proud Nigerians to celebrate fellow superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy as they emerged as Grammy Awards winners on Sunday.
The popular artiste took to his Twitter page to offer an indirect congratulatory message after Burna Boy and Wizkid were announced as Grammy winners.
Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album for his work on ‘Twice as Tall’ while Wizkid won Wizkid won The Best Music Video award for his collaboration in Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl.’
“ Whichever way you look at it, this is a victory for Nigeria for the culture and for my people ,Congrats to our winners! Tule Naija!” He tweeted, as he acknowledged their win as a victory for Nigeria.
The congratulations comes amidst rumours of simmering feud among trio, causing a surprise among fans of the superstars.
Davido and Wizkid have fallen out in the past but made up eventually though they have not been seen together of late unlike the camaraderie that has recently been exuding between Burna Boy and Wizkid.
Burna Boy and Davido are said to have an unknown and unsolved differences till date, causing their fans to constantly engage in online brawl. Their disagreement has been labeled one of the biggest beef in Nigeria music industry.
Regardless of the excitement the Grammy award has brought, the award has also sparked up a new wave of fan wars between their fans on social media
The A list artists have gained international recognition over the years.
