Davido wins 2022 Headies ‘Digital Artiste’, ‘Humanitarian’ awards (FULL LIST)

Some Nigerians believed that the ‘Digital artiste of the year” award should have gone to Ckay, with his global hit ‘Love Nwantiti’.

• September 5, 2022

Nigerian superstar Davido has bagged the humanitarian award of the year and digital artiste of the year at the 15th Headies Awards.

Although the star was not present at the event hosted at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta on Saturday, which ended with his categories yet to be announced, the organisers were quick to take to their Instagram page to make the announcement.

The star, praised for his generosity, with his popular slogan ‘we rise by lifting others’, and donating N250 million to 292 orphanages, in February, was congratulated by his fans and admirers.

However, some Nigerians believed that the ‘Digital artiste of the year” award should have gone to Ckay, with his global hit ‘Love Nwantiti’.
