Deputy finance minister reiterates commitment to peace, development in Nigeria

Deputy finance minister Doris Uzoka-Anite has reiterated her dedication to public service and her commitment to peace, progress, and development in Nigeria.
Ms Uzoka-Anite made the commitment while receiving a chieftaincy title of ‘Ada Ukwu Ndi Orlu Zone’ of Orlu Local Government Area, Imo, in Abuja.
The minister expressed her gratitude for the honour, dedicating the recognition to the Nigerian people and acknowledging the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, under whose Renewed Hope Agenda, she continues to serve.
“I accept this title with humility and a deep sense of responsibility by the grace of God. I will continue to uphold the dignity of this office and work for peace, opportunity, and prosperity for the people of Orlu Zone, Imo, and Nigeria as a whole,” Ms Uzoka-Anite said.
Eze Obiefule, the paramount ruler of the Umudioka Ancient Kingdom in Orlu LGA, Imo, commended Ms Uzoka-Anite for her numerous contributions.
“You are one of the distinguished daughters of Orlu that we are proud of. I came personally to present this certificate of honour to you for your public service and support for development not only in Orlu but in Imo and Nigeria,” he said.
