Desmond Scott apologises for cheating after Kristy files for divorce

Desmond Scott has addressed the public following the divorce filing of his wife and fellow TikTok creator, Kristy Scott, over alleged infidelity.
Posting a statement on his Instagram story on Saturday, Mr Scott apologised to his estranged wife, their family, and fans affected by the news.
“I want to begin by apologising to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused,” he wrote.
He reaffirmed his commitment to their two young sons, saying “Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.”
He also reflected on the end of their marriage, admitting he made choices he regrets.
“Kristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” he wrote, asking for privacy and compassion as they navigate the split.
The couple, who met as teenagers and married in 2014, have built a massive online following across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, documenting couple moments, home projects, and collaborative content.
They also co-founded the creative production company “Meant To Be Films,” focused on wedding storytelling and film.
Mrs Scott filed for divorce in Texas citing alleged infidelity, claiming it “completely wiped out any reasonable chance of reconciliation.”
Mr Scott’s statement comes weeks after Mrs Scott’s last social media appearance with him in early December 2025.
