Determined Davido fan completes bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos despite rejection

Emmanuel Myam, an avid fan of Afrobeats superstar Davido, has successfully completed his bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos.
Amid cheers from his Benue community in Lagos, the determined cyclist was given a warm welcome, showcasing his unwavering commitment despite being turned down by Davido.
Confirming his arrival on Friday in Lagos, Olikita Ekani, a Facebook user, extended congratulations to Myam, stating, “Emmi Wuks finally storms Lagos. Emmi Wuks, fast-rising celebrity, bicycle rider and ardent supporter of Nigerian Music Super Star Davido, has finally arrived Lagos.”
Ekani added, “He was given a heroic welcome by Mdzough U Tiv Lagos State members and Benue Chubby Queen Miss Kpadoo Upev and other well-wishers. Congratulations and best wishes to him!.”
Previously, Peoples Gazette reported the cyclist’s journey to Lagos, which gained traction on social media. The trip caught Davido’s attention when an X user shared photos of Myam’s adventure.
“A young man called @emmiwuks embarked on a bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos to meet Afrobeat superstar @davido. He is currently on Day 8 today,” @ssbmuzik posted.
Responding to the post, Davido, who has a philanthropic history, turned down the cyclist, saying, “Turn around. I’m not home.”
