Earthquakes: Several among 146 Venezuelans deported from U.S. feared dead

Several Venezuelans deported from the U.S. by President Donald Trump shortly before the twin earthquakes that hit the South American country are missing and feared dead.
The 146 Venezuelans deported from the U.S. arrived their country last Wednesday, eight hours before the deadly earthquakes tore through the country, collapsing buildings and killing thousands
A week after the earthquakes, many of those deported to Venezuela were yet to be found.
Though about 2300 people result of the earthquakes, the Venezuelan government has yet to ascertain the wellbeing and the number of those deported from America killed in the earthquakes.
The deportees consists 120 men, 19 women and seven children. Some of them camped at hilltop in La Guaira, Venezuela’s port town, worst hit by the earthquakes.
Family members of the deportees are searching for their loved ones as rescue operations continue across the country.
The international community, including the United Nations, American government and the Pope, has sympathised with Venezuela over the tragedy, promising support for the country.
