Eid-al-Adha: Ilorin chief imam urges love, unity, peace

The chief imam of Ilorin, Abdullahi Abdulhameed, has advised Muslims to make love, unity and peace their guiding principles, regardless of religion or tribe.

The cleric advised while speaking on Wednesday after leading prayers at the Ilorin Eid praying ground.

He added that Muslims should also increase their devotion to Allah’s course.

Mr Abdulhameed called on Muslims to be kind-hearted to animals that are being slaughtered for God to accept their sacrifices.

In his remarks, the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for Nigeria to overcome its challenges.
