Monsuru Akinloye, the chairman of the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Epe Division of Lagos State, has urged Muslim clerics to intensify prayers for peace, stability, and progress of the council, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.

Mr Akinloye made the call on Friday during the commemoration of the 2025 Eid-el-Maulud in Eredo-Epe.

He said the occasion was not only a moment of celebration but also a reminder of the noble character and timeless teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

“As we reflect on his noble character and teachings, may we be inspired to embrace the values of compassion, justice, unity, and humility in our daily lives.

“Let this celebration renew our commitment to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and service to humanity,” he said.

The chairman prayed that Allah would continue to bless families, the people of Eredo LCDA, Lagos State, and the entire nation with enduring peace, prosperity, and divine guidance.

He wished all Muslims a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid al-Maulud.
