Elon Musk, Tim Cook to accompany Trump to China

The chief executives of Apple and Tesla/SpaceX, Tim Cook and Elon Musk, are set to join US President Donald Trump on a major business, technology and innovation trip to China this week.
The state visit will take place in Beijing on Thursday and Friday, where Donald Trump is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.
He will also be accompanied by several top business and tech leaders for talks focused on trade, investment and strengthening cooperation in technology between both countries.
Messrs Cook and Musk are part of a list of more than 15 U.S. executives, including leaders from Meta, Visa, JPMorgan Chase, Boeing and Cargill, joining the president in Beijing for strategic technological and economic talks.
Also joining the president are Kelly Ortberg, Brian Sikes, Chuck Robbins, Jim Anderson, Larry Culp, Jacob Thaysen, Dina Powell McCormick, Sanjay Mehrotra and Cristiano Amon.
The Beijing trip, which was originally scheduled for early April, was postponed amid high geopolitical tensions linked to the U.S. war with Iran.
