Employment letters issued to 324 candidates illegal, says Edo assembly service commission

The statement described the employment letters as “unauthorised, illegal, and unlawful”.

The Edo House of Assembly Service Commission has recalled employment letters it issued to 324 individuals.

This was announced in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement was jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of the commission, Ezehi Igbas and Isoken Nehi- Olotu, respectively.

The statement described the recent issuance of the employment letters as “unauthorised, illegal, and unlawful, rendering them null, void, and of no effect”.

The commission apologised to all recipients and regrets any inconvenience caused to those affected.
