Enugu CP felicitates Christians, assures festive security

The police boss urged Christians to celebrate with hope, showing love, charity, and kindness, especially to the needy, remembering Christ as the reason.

The commissioner of police in Enugu State, Mamman Giwa, has felicitated Christians and residents as they celebrate Christmas.

Mr Giwa conveyed goodwill in a Christmas message on Thursday in Enugu.

He described Christmas as a momentous celebration, reminding humanity of the birth of Jesus Christ and bringing salvation, hope, love, and redemption to believers.

The police boss urged Christians to celebrate with hope, showing love, charity, and kindness, especially to the needy, remembering Christ as the reason.

“I reiterate the unwavering commitment of the police to ensure the safety and security of all residents and visitors during the festive period.

“While wishing all a merry Christmas, I urge citizens to remain law-abiding and vigilant and promptly report suspicious persons or criminal activities.
