EPL: Arsenal tentatively displace wobbling Manchester United from fourth spot

Arsenal on Sunday defeated Watford 3-2, displacing Manchester United from fourth position on the English Premier League log.
The Gunners grabbed a crucial away win at Vicarage Road, boosting their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Martin Odegaard grabbed an opener for the Gunners barely five minutes into the game, giving Arsenal a good start.
Cucho Hanendez, however, cancelled Odegard’s early goal, equalising for Watford with an overhead kick in the 11th minute.
With both teams scheming to outdo each other, Nigerian born Bukayo Saka fired in another goal for the Gunners in the 30th minute, giving the Gunners the lead into the first half break.
Arsenal returned into the second half controlling the game as Gabriel Martinelli netted their third goal in the 52nd minute, giving Arsenal a comfortable lead.
Moussa Sissoko however scored Watford’s second goal in the 87th minute to put Arteta’s boys under pressure as the game wounded down. But it was too late.
With 48 points in 25 games and two outstanding games, the Gunners have now overtaken the Red Devils on the EPL log with one point.
United could be back in fourth position if they defeat Manchester City in their game later tonight.
