EPL: Madueke nets hat-trick as Chelsea crush Wolves

Noni Madueke put up a brilliant performance, netting a second-half hat-trick as Chelsea ruthlessly defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-2 at Molineux in their English Premier league game on Sunday.
The electrifying EPL encounter featured a competitive first half that saw both teams score two goals each.
Chelsea took the lead twice in the first half but resilient Wolves fought their way back into the game levelling up before the break.
Nicolas Jackson gave the Blues an early lead barely two minutes into the game but Matheus Cunha pulled an equaliser for Wolves in the 27th minute.
Again, Cole Palmer restored Chelsea’s lead in the 45th minute only for Jorgen Strand Larsen to fire in an equaliser for Wolves, leaving the two teams at par into the break.
The home side, however, lost focus, caving in to pressure from the Blues as Noni Madueke delivered deadly blows with three successive goals in 15 minutes.
Madueke scored in the 49th, 58th and 63rd minutes of the game, widening the goal margin between the Blues and their host.
With Wolves’ hopes of comeback completely dashed,
Joao Felix, on his second debut for the Blues,, added a sixth goal for the Blues, ending a brutal crushing of Wolve on their turf.
Sunday’s win marked Chelsea’s first points of the season under new manager Enzo Maresca, after a first game defeat to the Champions Manchester City.
