EPL record signing Moisés Caicedo debut as 10-man West Ham defeat Chelsea 3-1

Chelsea’s search for their first Premier League win of the season under manager Mauricio Pochettino continued after the Blues were beaten 10-man 3-1 by West Ham at the London Stadium.
The game was the one Premier League’s record signing Moisés Caicedo would want to forget in earnest after the Ecuador international gave away a penalty late in the match.
Morocco international Nayef Aguerd put West Ham ahead only seven minutes into the game with a power header from James Ward-Prowse’s corner kick, but Carney Chukwuemeka cancelled out the lead in the 28th minute.
Chelsea failed to go into the halftime break with a lead as Enzo Fernandez, in the 43rd minute, could not convert the penalty kick awarded to the visitors, which Alphonse Adeola brilliantly saved.
Eight minutes after the break, Michail Antonio returned West Ham in the lead thanks to a well-taken shot from outside the 18-yard box. They were reduced to 10 men in the 67th minute after Aguerd was sent off.
