Etebo and Osimhen will miss Super Eagles friendlies

Super Eagles players Ogenekaro Etebo and Victor Osimhen have been ruled out of upcoming Nigeria friendly matches.
Nigeria is scheduled to play against Algeria on Friday at the Jacques Lemans Arena, Austria. The NFF had in September announced a list of 25 players invited for Super Eagles friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia.
Etebo, 24, will be missing in action due to an injury he sustained while playing for his club side during the weekend, while Victor Osimhen has been excused from the team, the Nigerian Football Federation announced on Monday.
“@NGSuperEagles midfielder @etebo_karo is out of the friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia. He picked up a knock in his club’s game in Turkey yesterday”, NFF said on Twitter.
The NFF said Paul Onuacho will replace Osimhen. But a replacement is yet to be announced for Etebo.
Etebo, a midfielder and Osimhen, a striker, recently joined Galatasaray and Napoli respectively.
