Ex-Kaduna lawmaker joins ADC

A former Kaduna State lawmaker, Senator Suleiman Abdul Kwari, on Wednesday defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Mr Kwari served as a senator under the All Progressives Congress (APC) from 2019 to 2023, representing Kaduna North Senatorial District.
In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), the ex-lawmaker announced his defection, saying “I have formally resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aligned with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This decision reflects my continued commitment to public service, democratic participation, and national development.”
He added that he looked forward to contributing alongside others to a people-centered agenda anchored on inclusion, accountability, and sustainable progress in the collective interest of the nation.
