Fake alcoholic drinks-manufacturing company uncovered, suspects arrested: Police

The police command in Lagos said it uncovered a company that allegedly deals in fake alcoholic drinks.
The command also arrested four suspected perpetrators of the crime.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
Mr Hundeyin said operatives from Isokoko Police Division, acting on credible information, raided a house in Agege, where the fake alcoholic drinks were allegedly produced.
He said that the police arrested four people behind the alleged illegal distillery at the venue.
The cop added that the police had recovered fake drinks, empty bottles, and labels for different brands.
The police spokesperson said an investigation was ongoing, adding that the command had sealed the premises.
