FG appoints new directors for aviation agencies

Aviation minister Festus Keyamo released a list of new directors for agencies in the ministry on Thursday.
A statement by the ministry indicated that Vincent Obi is the director of Weather Services at the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, while Odjugo Akpodiogaga is in charge of Research and Training.
Onyegbule Amarachi is the director of Applied Meteorological Services, Abdulkareem Olayinka is (the director of Engineering and Technical Services), Funke Arowojobe is the director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Shola Gabriel is the director of Legal Services/Company Secretary, and Nasiru Sani is the director of Human Resources and Administration.
The list also has Alex Yusuf as the director of finance and accounts and Airiohuodion Omonzojie as the director of corporate services.
Further details indicated that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has Balang Godwin, director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards, Yinka Boboye, director of Air Transport Regulations, and Donald Spiff, director of Operations, Licensing and Training.
Other NCAA directors include Michael Achimugu (Public Affairs and Consumer Protection), Omogo Chinedu (AVSEC Regulations), Olufemi Odukoya (Finance and Accounts), Victor Goyea (Airworthiness Standards) and Mary Tufany (Legal/Company Secretary).
The list also has Anastasia Gbem as the director of Human Resources and Administration, Horatius Egwa as the director of Special Duties, and Rebecca Aghadinazu as the director of Corporate Services.
The minister also announced the appointment of new Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) directors. The list includes Muonemeh Lotenna (Finance and Accounts), John Tayo (Operations), and Abi Nola Ladi (Human Resources and Administration).
Ijeoma Ihenachor was appointed the director of Safety Electronic and Engineering Services, Rita Egbadon as the director of Legal Services/Company Secretary, Abdulahi Musa as the director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Abba Ahmad as the director of Special Duties, and Ibrahim Aliyu as the director of Corporate Services.
New directors were appointed for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), with Abdulahi Babanya handling Engineering Services and Odita Francis and Nwobu Patrick in Transport and Investigation. Others are Esosa Remwanatua as the director of Legal Services/Company Secretary, Lawal Abdulmumin as the director of Human Resources, and Bimbo Olawunmi as the director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection.
Okundaye-Oke Folake was appointed the director of Finance and Accounts, and Baro Henry was named the director of Corporate Services.
For the Nigerian Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Muniru Abiodun is the director of engineering services; Abdulahi Mahmood is the director of Airport Operations; Ayodele Atiregun is the Finance and Accounts; and Luqman Eniola is the director of Human Resources and Administration.
Igbafe Afegbai is the director of Aviation Services; Bridget Gold is the director of Legal Services/Company Secretary; Jensen Asaba is the director of corporate services; Obiageli Orah is the director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection; Henry Agbebire is the director of Special Duties and Joy Agunbiade, the director of Commercial.
The business development director of cargo services has not been announced.
The statement added that a new Directorate for Cargo Services was created at FAAN.
