Fire razes School of Technology in Kano

The Kano State Fire Service has put out a fire in Matan Fada School of Technology in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.
The public relations officer of the service, Saminu Abdullahi, confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday in Kano.
Mr Abdullahi said that the incident occurred on Monday night.
He said, “We received a distress call at about 8:28 p.m. from Faisal Dauda that there was a fire incident at the School of Technology. Upon receiving the information, we quickly sent a fire vehicle to the scene at about 8:34 p.m. to bring the fire under control.’’
Mr Abdullahi said that the building of 500 x 500 feet with nine classes and six offices, totalling 15, was completely razed down.
He also said that no life was lost and the cause of the fire was being investigated.
