Fireboy DML releases hit single ‘CLAAT!’

Afrobeats singer Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has released his highly anticipated single, “CLAAT!” featuring Jamaican dancehall artiste Masicka.
The award-winning singer announced the release on Friday in a post on X.
“CLAAT! w @MasickaMusic OUT NOW!,” the singer said.
The announcement was accompanied by a teaser video signalling the official release of the collaboration on streaming platforms.
The release has attracted reactions from other artistes, as well as fans on social media.
Ace singer Rema congratulated Fireboy on the release, writing, “Let’s goooooo it’s time my bro,” while music producer Stevokeys commented, “After you na you!”
Other fans celebrated the collaboration, with many describing it as a return to Fireboy’s signature melody and expressing excitement over the song.
Fireboy, who signed to YBNL Nation in 2018, gained prominence with his 2019 debut album, “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps”.
He gained international recognition with the global hit “Peru,” and has since released the albums Apollo, Playboy and Adedamola.
He has built a reputation for blending Afrobeats, R&B and pop, with several successful local and international collaborations.
