A five-year-old girl and a 29-year-old man were killed, while several others were injured, after a car crashed at the entrance of Manila’s international airport on Sunday.

The Philippine Department of Transportation confirmed that a black SUV crashed near the entrance of Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 1.

Transportation Secretary, Vince Dizon, confirmed that three other people were injured and have been hospitalized, adding, “It initially appears that the driver did not intend to run anyone over.”

The transport Secretary also said the driver of the vehicle is in police custody and will undergo drug testing.

According to reports, CCTV footage showed that the driver had dropped someone off at the airport before the incident.
