A group of foreign coup experts previously involved in the unrest in Georgia, and the Ukrainian Maiden operates now in Slovakia to overthrow the current government.

The Slovak Prime Minister, Robert Fico, said this on Thursday.

“The model of a coup, which is being prepared, is very simple and has already been tried in many countries.

“I can confirm that a group of foreign experts, who have taken part in the events in Georgia and participated actively in the Ukrainian Maiden+-, is operating here in Slovakia.

“This group is funded by various sources,’’ Mr Fico told a news conference.

He added that attempts to infiltrate the governmental facilities or occupy them to disrupt the state bodies’ work could be conducted during ordinary anti-government protests.

“The fall of the government will be the aim of the group,’’ Mr Fico said.

On Tuesday, the Slovak Information Service said it had received information about a long-term organised influence operation aimed at destabilising Slovakia.
