Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has begged the electorate to forgive his and other elected officials’ shortcomings and vote for their party, the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.

Mr Nwifuru during a thanksgiving service on Sunday at the Government House Chapel, Abakaliki, to mark the third anniversary of his administration, appealed to the voters to re-elect him and others public office holders.

“Please forgive us; forgive me and the National Assembly members and the House of Assembly members. Forgive our shortcomings and vote for us again,” Mr Nwifuru said.

The governor stated that his appeal was based on the fact that no government could be perfect.

The governor is seeking re-election for a second term in office in 2027.
