Former FCTA director picks PDP Wukari/Ibi reps nomination form

Muktar Galadima, a retired director of the Department of Development Control, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Abuja, has purchased his nomination form for the Wukari and Ibi federal constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Mr Galadima picked up both his nomination and expression of interest forms at the party secretariat in Jalingo on Wednesday.
Speaking to journalists in Jalingo, Mr Galadima expressed confidence in his ability to represent his people and impact their well-being.
The town planner also expressed confidence in winning the House of Representatives seat in the coming general elections.
He said the victory would be determined by his constituents, not the government in power, adding that he was not disturbed by the posture of the All Progressives Congress as the ruling party in Taraba.
“I am very happy today because the process towards actualisation of my dream of giving my people good leadership is in top gear.
“I have just purchased my nomination and expression of interest form today, and I am overwhelmed by the support and goodwill I have received from the people of Wukari/Ibi.
“My intention and aspiration are based on my people’s clarion call for better representation at the National Assembly, bearing in mind my track record of services at the FCTA. I am very confident of my victory come 2027, and I call on my people not to be disturbed, especially as they have the power to decide who gets what in the elections,” he added.
Mr Galadima is from Ibi LGA. A town planner by profession, he worked and retired as a director in the FCTA nine years ago.
He has also resigned as a senior special assistant on development control to FCT minister Nyesom Wike to contest for the House of Representatives seat.
