Amid hostilities between the U.S., Israel and Iran on Saturday, missiles hit Dubai International Airport, injuring about four people, the Dubai media office said.

“Dubai Airports has confirmed an incident at Dubai International Airport (DXB) just moments ago. Emergency response teams have been activated immediately, and the incident is being handled in coordination with the relevant authorities,” it said in a statement.

It added, “This has resulted in four injuries, and the necessary urgent medical assistance has been provided to them. Updated information will be broadcast as soon as it is received.”

Following the U.S. and Israel joint attack on Iran, the Islamic Republic has fired several missiles at Gulf countries with U.S. bases in retaliation.

The strikes by the U.S. and Israel have seen Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top members of his regime dead.

American President Donald Trump on Saturday announced that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mr Khamenei, was killed in the airstrikes earlier in the day.
