Born without a silver spoon, 38-year-old Sophie Dee has managed to become one of the highest earners on OnlyFans, an adult website where she rakes in $350,000 every month for filming erotic scenes.

Ms Dee, a British model raised in a small village in Wales, has disclosed how she navigated her way out of poverty and obscurity into limelight, becoming a millionaire who can conveniently pay $60,000 for cosmetic surgeries without a flinch.

“We pretty much survived on welfare throughout my childhood, my family lived on a rundown council estate. We never had name-brand products in the house — even a bottle of Coca-Cola was a treat reserved for Christmas.” recalled the OnlyFans star in an interview with JamPrime.com published by The New York Post.

The adult star who joined OnlyFans in 2017 is currently worth millions of dollars. Forbes ranked Ms Dee as the 48th top content creator in the world in 2022.

Describing the ranking as a big win for the sex industry, the pornograhy actress said “It feels amazing to be on the list because it’s a validation of sex work,” adding that “sex work is work, maybe this will finally make people understand that.”

When asked about her family, Ms Dee disclosed her folks were initially perturbed at the idea of her starring in sex videos and engaging in sexual activities on camera, but later came around, accepting her career path.

“The whole family — my dad, step-mom and brother — hated it when I started out. No father wants this for his daughter but dad has since come around to the idea, and understands that this is a real job.”

The British model disclosed that villagers who once turned their noses at her came “crawling back to congratulate” her when she returned to Wales for a visit.

“Before I left the UK, people in our village would stare and call me names, saying I was a s- -g. It was horrible but it actually helped better prepare me today for the challenges of becoming a public figure on social media — people can be really demeaning online.”

Boasting of her millionaire status, the porn actress noted most of her village folks were still living under the same conditions even ten years after her migration to Las Vegas.

“I went back to Wales recently and the people I used to know are doing the exact same thing they were 10 years ago, but with a few more kids in tow. Meanwhile, I’m a millionaire,” bragged the adult star.

“I don’t know if they follow my OnlyFans, though I wouldn’t put it past them, but many of them have gotten in touch to congratulate me, which is hilarious,” she added.

Despite acquiring luxurious properties including a $130,000 Porsche, Ms Dee said she is “careful” with her cash as she has never forgotten her humble background. She has invested “in stocks, bonds, my pension, crypto and in business ventures.”

“When you grow up poor, there’s a feeling that sticks with you. I have enough money to retire several times over but I never stop stressing about it, and I’ll never stop trying to make more,” disclosed the porn actress.

Majority of the online commenters condemned the actress, accusing her of being morally bankrupt despite having millions of dollars in her name. They stressed that integrity cannot be bought and warned old age may come knocking with consequences.
