Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Kaduna State Sector Command, Kabir Nadabo, on Friday decorated 25 newly promoted officers with new ranks.

Mr Nadabo said at the event that promotion comes from God alone,

saying that the newly promoted officers included 10 officers, 10  marshal inspectors and five road marshal assistants.

He thanked the corps marshal for clearing the backlog of 2023 promotion exercises.

Mr Nadabo appealed to those promoted to see their promotions as a challenge and put more efforts in promoting the culture of road safety management in the country.

He also urged them to ensure civility while discharging their duties.

“Things are tight in the country. However, we need to continue having safety on our roads throughout the year,” the sector commander said.

Mr Nadabo said the promoted officers have to expect responsibilities attached to their new ranks.

He urged them to be dedicated and committed to the new duties that were accompanied with their new ranks.

The most senior officer, who spoke on behalf of the promoted officers, Chief Route Commander, Bala  Shengun, said promotion was a privilege which has responsibilities.

Mr Shengun reassured that they would remain committed to meet up the FRSC’s mandate.
