The Federal Road Safety Corps has rewarded outstanding personnel as part of efforts to reinforce integrity, transparency and professionalism in its operations.

The corps marshal, Shehu Mohammed, presented commendation letters and cash rewards to selected officers and marshals at the ceremony this week in Abuja.

In a statement, Mr Mohammed said the honourees were drawn from operational commands across the country.

The FRSC boss said that they were recognised for consistently demonstrating discipline, accountability and professional excellence.

“The gesture is part of a deliberate institutional framework to motivate personnel, strengthen public trust and reinforce the corps’ zero-tolerance stance on unethical conduct,” Mr Mohammed said.

Mr Mohammed described integrity as the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration.

The corps marshal said the FRSC would continue to identify, encourage and reward behaviours that enhance the image of the organisation.

“This recognition is a celebration of who we are as an organisation and what we stand for,” he said.

Mr Mohammed noted that thousands of officers and marshals across the country discharge their duties daily with honour, courage and a strong sense of responsibility.

“Today’s award highlights that enduring culture and serves as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated,” Mr Mohammed maintained.

The FRSC boss added that the initiative was not only about recognition but also aimed at inspiring personnel to remain steadfast in upholding the values of the corps.

Mr Mohammed reaffirmed management’s commitment to providing the right environment, leadership and incentives to promote ethical conduct and operational excellence at all levels. 

He said the corps remained resolute in its mandate to build a safer motoring environment while sustaining a workforce anchored on discipline, transparency and service to humanity.
