The accident occurred at Wuye junction along Berger-Area One expressway Abuja.

The FCT sector Commander, Danlami Abdul, said on Tuesday in Abuja that the lone accident occurred while the woman was on phone while driving.

He said that FRSC operatives from Zone 7, were at alert when the accident happened and quickly moved to the scene.

“The woman involved was rushed to hospital for treatment.

“Items recovered were 20 British pounds, five euros, one Egyptian pound, N905 local currency, United Kingdom valid drivers licence and 12 foreign ATM cards.

“The items were returned to her by the Sector Head, Operations, Mr Adewale Ameen,” he said.

The FRSC boss appealed to motorists to avoid speeding, use of phone while driving, and always abide by traffic rules and regulations.

Mr Abdul assured that the FRSC was fully prepared to promptly deploy personnel and logistics during emergencies in the FCT.
