Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa, bags degree in political science from UI
Fuji maestro Saheed Osupa has earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Osupa, who made the disclosure via an Instagram post on Wednesday, said he graduated with a second class upper division.
“Today, I attended the convocation of the University of Ibadan, where I graduated, bagging a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Political Science with Second Class Honour, Upper Division,” Osupa said, sharing photos of his convocation.
“The public should be aware that, I, King (Dr.) Saheed Osupa Akorede, am now a graduate of the prestigious University Of Ibadan, Class of ’21,’’ he added.
Famous for his rich Yoruba songs, Osupa has joined the league of celebrities who returned to school after recording success in their chosen careers.
In his music career spanning over two decades, Osupa reeled out songs bordering on socio-political and other societal issues in Nigeria. His musical dexterity endeared him to many music lovers especially Fuji aficionados.
