FULL LIST: 23 countries U.S. warns citizens not to visit
The United States has issued a travel advisory warning its citizens to avoid travelling to a number of countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.
President Donald Trump’s administration listed 23 nations deemed too dangerous for U.S. citizens to visit. Among the countries are Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger, and Uganda.
The U.S. Department of State’s consular affairs, on Wednesday, released a list of countries that Americans should not travel to.
“We issue Travel Advisories with Levels 1 – 4. Level 4 means DO NOT TRAVEL. We assign Level 4 based on local conditions and/or our limited ability to help Americans there,” the advisory stated, labelling the countries as “dangerous places”.
The U.S. government warned its citizens not to visit any of the nations “for any reason”.
