Gashua University resumes, approves 140 as cut-off mark

The Federal University Gashua in Yobe resumed academic activities on Tuesday and approved 140 as the cut-off mark for the 2022/2023 academic session.
A statement by the institution’s spokesman, Adamu Saleh, in Gashua on Wednesday said the mark was for all courses in the institution.
The university’s senate made the decisions at its 42nd meeting on Monday, disclosed the statement. The senate approved November 14 for fresh students’ registration and December for registration by returning students.
The university warned that late registration would attract a fine, adding that direct entry candidates must have the university as their first choice.
The statement further mentioned that online screening for prospective candidates started on Tuesday and would end on December 1.
It advised candidates to visit the university’s website, http//fugashua.edu.ng, and register for the online screening.
