Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, has said that God told him the church’s governing council would someday hold their meeting on the moon.

“I’m not doubting God; I know with him, all things are possible,” said Mr Adeboye. “But he told, me, and I told some of my people. He told me he said a day is coming when the Redeemed Christian Church of God when the governing council wants to hold their meeting, they will hold it on the moon.”

Mr Adeboye said that even though it “doesn’t make sense”, he believed it would happen because God said it.

“I know that doesn’t make sense, but then that’s God,” Mr Adeboye said.

“When God says we will one day we will one day be holding our meeting on the moon, you don’t have to believe it. But he has spoken, and it is going to come to pass.”

The renowned cleric disclosed this in one of his trending sermon videos, in which he preached about God’s ability to fulfil his promises no matter how they appear unrealistic. However, Peoples Gazette cannot verify when this sermon was recorded.

Mr Adeboye referred to how God once promised to build him a city, referring to the RCCG campground in Lagos as the fulfilment of the promise.

“Just like he said to me, don’t ask for a house; I’ve decided to build you a city. He was talking to somebody living in a room in Mushin. When I shared it with those people who were with me then, they all laughed. They are still laughing because they can see what God is doing,” Mr Adeboye said.
