Gospel artiste Mercy Chinwo has accused her former manager Ezekiel Thankgod, popularly known as Eezee Tee of threats and bullying.

On Monday she shared an emotional video on instagram opening up and captioned it, “I am overwhelmed with sadness every single day, and I cannot even explain it all. This burden is too heavy for me to bear.”

She recalled that Eeeze Tee threatened her and said “I made you who you are and I will destroy you.”

She noted that she had to move from Lagos to Port Harcourt because the whole environment was toxic for her.

Ms Chinwo alleged that he tried to convince her to sign a 12-year contract in which she refused and he seized her royalty for two years.

She recalled that one of her “crimes” was when she collaborated with gospel artiste Nathaniel Bassey, whom Eezee Tee reportedly “hates.”

She alleged that this led to Eezee Tee sponsoring fake news about her son.

In April 2024, rumours spread that Ms Chinwo’s son was not for her husband and had striking resemblance for Mr Bassey

She stated that Eezee Tee also forced her to inherit his enemies, adding “the people you fight, I must fight them, because you hate Pastor Jerry Eze, you won’t want me to go for his events.’’

This response stems from the allegations Ms Chinwo made against Eezee Tee that he allegedly moved $246,000 from gospel artiste Judikay between 2019 and 2024

In his response, Eezee Tee said “For years, you’ve received both quarterly royalties and immediate remittances from the 50/50 agreement, but this greed and betrayal that persists are beyond comprehension.”

Both parties appeared in court on Friday, and the court adjourned the case, fixing February 14 for the possible arraignment of Eezee Tee.
