Gov. AbdulRazaq appoints Mashood Mustapha as coordinator for 2027 hajj

Mr Agboola described the newly appointed Ameerul as a seasoned entrepreneur, public servant, and community leader.

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the appointment of the Wakili of Ilorin Emirate, Mashood Mustapha, as the leader of the state’s contingent to 2027 Muslim pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. 

In a statement on Thursday by the deputy spokesman for the governor, Mashood Abdulrafiu Agboola, the newly appointed Ameerul is a seasoned entrepreneur, public servant, and community leader. 

He stated that Mr Mustapha is chairman of Crystal Group of Companies, a former cabinet member, and member of the House of Representatives who served between 2011 and 2015. 

“He is an alumnus of Kwara State Polytechnic; Lagos State University; and Rome Business School (Italy). 

“The Ameerul Hajj will coordinate the state’s 2027 Hajj exercise along with other statutory bodies at various levels of government,” Mr Agboola said.
